The NRC is located in Lefrak Hall at the south end of the University of Maryland campus. To use Google Maps, click here.

From US 1 - going South (from the Beltway 495):

DO NOT take the entrances to the University of Maryland. Turn right at the light at Knox Road. At the end of Knox Road make another right on to Guilford Road.  Make a right at next stop sign, Preinkert Dr.  Follow the road up the hill; there will be a stop sign at the top of the hill.  Make a sharp right turn into parking lot "A." You will need the key pad number to open the gate, see next page. Drive straight into the parking lot; do not bear left up the hill. Please park in the designated "S & H" parking spaces, which are the last spaces on the left. If there aren’t any designated “S & H” spaces available, you can park in any of the remaining spaces, as long as your permit is displayed. If you have handicapped tags please use the designated handicapped parking space available.  Lefrak is the building to the right of your parked vehicle.  DO NOT CLIMB ANY STAIRS.  Walk around to the right of the building, past the black gate, (it is sometimes open) and into the courtyard.  The entrance into Lefrak will be on your left. 

From US 1 - going North (from Hyattsville):

Turn left at the light at Guilford Road. Continue through two (2) stop signs. At the third stop sign make a right on Preinkert Dr. Follow the road up the hill; there will be a stop sign at the top of the hill.  Make a sharp right turn into parking lot “A”. You will need the key pad number to open the gate, see next page.  Drive straight into the parking lot; do not bear left up the hill.   Please park in the designated "S & H" parking spaces, which are the last spaces on the left. If there aren’t any designated “S & H” spaces available, you can park in any of the remaining spaces, as long as your permit is displayed. From University Boulevard (from Silver Spring):

Stay in the right hand lane and use the "Yield" to the right before you cross Adelphi Road.  After you cross Adelphi Road it becomes Campus Drive. Go through the traffic light at Presidential Drive. You will come to a traffic circle.  Drive half way around circle continuing on Campus Drive.  Proceed to the stop sign at the top of the hill. Turn right on Preinkert Drive. Continue straight for about two blocks.  You will enter "A" lot on the left.  You will need to the key pad number to open the gate, see below.  Drive straight into the parking lot; do not bear left up the hill.  Please park in the designated "S & H" parking spaces, which are the last spaces on the left. From Adelphi Road: 

Turn on Campus Drive.  Go and pass the traffic light at Presidential Drive. You will come to a traffic circle.  Drive half way around circle continuing on Campus Drive.  Proceed to the stop sign at the top of the hill. Turn right on Preinkert Drive.  Continue straight for about two blocks.  You will enter Lot "A" lot on the left.  You will need to know the key pad number to open the gate, see attached.  Drive straight into the parking lot; do not bear left up the hill.  Please park in the designated "S & H" parking spaces, which are the last spaces on the left. If there aren’t any designated “S & H” spaces available, you can park in any of the remaining spaces, as long as your permit is displayed. If you have handicapped tags please use the designated handicapped parking space available.  Lefrak is the building to the right of your parked vehicle.  DO NOT CLIMB ANY STAIRS.  Walk around to the right of the building, past the black gate, (it is sometimes open) and into the courtyard.  The entrance into Lefrak will be on your left. 

Once outside Lefrak:

Walk to the right around the building until you reach the building entrance (pictured below) on your left. The South Campus Diner will be on your right.

Enter the building and follow the orange and black tiles on your left up to the top of the ramp.

At the top of the ramp, turn left down this hallway, passing the elevator and stairwell.

The front door to the NRC will be the second door on your left– Room 0124. Please knock on the door and have a seat in the provided chair. Someone will come to greet you.

Driving Directions from Main Campus:
Take Paint Branch Drive toward the Chesapeake Building (where Personnel is)
Go straight through the light at Rt. 193 onto Metzerott Rd.
Make an immediate right onto Greenmead Drive.
Take Greenmead to the end. The Avrum Gudelsky Building is on the right.

Driving Directions from Baltimore and Points North:
Take I-95 South toward Washington.
Bear right at I-495 (Capital Beltway) toward Silver Spring.
Immediately bear left to follow signs for Rt 1, College Park.
Follow signs for Rt 1/College Park (you will get temporarily onto another spur of I-95).
After finally exiting onto Rt 1, go approximately 1 mile and bear right onto Rt 193/University Boulevard.
Go to the first light and make a right onto Metzerott Rd.
Make an immediate right onto Greenmead Drive.
Take Greenmead to the end. The Avrum Gudelsky Building is on the right.

Driving Directions from Virginia and Points South:
Take I-95 North toward Washington, DC Capital Beltway (I-495).
Continue North on I-95/I-495 toward Baltimore. Take Exit 25 (US 1 South towards College Park)
Go approximately 1 mile and bear right onto Rt 193/University Boulevard.
Go to the first light and make a right onto Metzerott Rd.
Make an immediate right onto Greenmead Drive.
Take Greenmead to the end. The Avrum Gudelsky Building is on the right.

Driving Directions from Virginia and Points West:
Take I-66 East or I-270 South to Washington, DC’s Capital Beltway (I-495).
Go East on I-495 toward Baltimore/Silver Spring. Take Exit 25 (US 1 South towards College Park)
Go approximately 1 mile and bear right onto Rt 193/University Boulevard.
Go to the first light and make a right onto Metzerott Rd.
Make an immediate right onto Greenmead Drive.
Take Greenmead to the end. The Avrum Gudelsky Building is on the right.
